Hanwha Asset Management Launches Two New ETFs Focused on Bonds and Commodities
Hanwha Asset Management has introduced two new ETFs targeting the mid-term bond market and a mixed portfolio of silver and government bonds. The first, the 'PLUS Medium-Term Comprehensive Bond (A- or higher) Active ETF', invests mainly in high-quality bonds rated A- or above, with an average duration of 2 years and a total expense ratio set at 0.06%. This ETF aims to capitalize on renewed interest in medium-term bonds amid expectations for interest rate cuts, providing investors with an expanded array of fixed-income options.
Additionally, Hanwha launched the 'PLUS Silver Bond Mixed ETF', which equally allocates investment between international spot silver prices and Korean government bonds. The ETF leverages structural supply-demand imbalances in the silver market, driven by rising demand from advanced industries. By combining a precious metal with the safety of government bonds, it seeks to enhance both potential returns and portfolio stability. Notably, the product is fully eligible for retirement pension accounts, supporting long-term asset allocation and diversification.
