Surge in Individual Investor Interest in ACE ETFs
Korea Investment Management Co.'s ACE S&P500 ETF and ACE Nasdaq100 ETF have attracted significant attention in the local market, with net purchases exceeding 8 trillion won by individual investors. The ACE S&P500 ETF tracks the S&P500 Index, while the ACE Nasdaq100 ETF follows the Nasdaq100 Index, recording net purchases of 4.475 trillion won and 3.547 trillion won, respectively. These results are highlighted by an impressive six-month return of 18.30% and 21.73%.
A key driver for the investors' rush to these ETFs is the remarkably low total expense ratios, with the ACE S&P500 ETF and ACE Nasdaq100 ETF showing annual expense ratios of 0.0047% and 0.0062%, respectively. These rates are significantly lower than the average for domestic ETF products, providing individual investors with an opportunity for long-term profit. The low expense ratios offer long-term cost efficiency, thereby increasing demand for these ETFs.
