Kiwoom Asset Management to Delist ETFs
Kiwoom Asset Management to Delist ETFs
The Korea Exchange has announced that Kiwoom Asset Management will delist five ETFs due to a decline in the principal value of their trusts, effective on the 4th of next month. The ETFs slated for delisting cover diverse sectors including REITs, the Kosdaq, and power semiconductors. This decision provides investors with an opportunity to sell the shares at prices suggested by liquidity providers until the 30th of this month, with trading suspension slated for the 2nd of next month. Post-delisting, remaining investors will receive settlement payments amounting to the net asset value minus any incurred costs. This move is seen as a reaction to changing market conditions and the altered profitability of the specific ETFs. As delisting draws near, quick adjustments by investors regarding these funds are crucial. ETFs focused on particular industries may have failed to meet listing maintenance standards, prompting this action.
