ACE U.S. 30-Year Treasury Yen Exposure Active ETF Leads Among Overseas Bond ETFs
The ACE U.S. 30-Year Treasury Yen Exposure Active (H) ETF, managed by Korea Investment Management, has ranked first among overseas bond ETFs with a year-to-date return of 8.96%. This impressive performance is 5.3 times higher than the average return of 1.69% for overseas bond ETFs. The ETF, with a total net asset value of 103.4 billion won, invests in U.S. 30-year Treasuries and Japanese yen, capitalizing on capital gains and foreign exchange gains due to expected decreases in U.S. interest rates and the strengthening yen.
Yongsoo Nam, head of the ETF Management Division, highlighted its high investment attraction amid current market conditions. Over the past six and twelve months, the ETF has achieved returns of 0.51% and 3.74% respectively, and it offers investors stable monthly dividends. Additionally, with a 100% investment limit within pension accounts, it provides significant investment flexibility.
