Samsung Securities Launches ETF Purchase Event for Minors
Samsung Securities is conducting an ETF purchase event for customers under the age of 19, running until the end of September. It is noteworthy that several asset management companies, including Samsung Asset Management, Shinhan Asset Management, Kiwoom Investment Asset Management, Korea Investment Trust Management, and KB Asset Management, are participating.
Customers who net buy ETFs are eligible to receive cultural gift certificates based on their purchase amounts, with the advantage of participating in multiple asset management companies simultaneously. This initiative aims to provide minors a chance to receive economic and financial education, while also offering them an opportunity to gain initial experience in financial investment. Special rewards in the form of additional cultural gift certificates are offered to Samsung Securities’ first-time minor customers.
This event not only allows minors the chance to experience a portion of tangible assets but also encourages the younger generation to develop a habit of long-term investment. Establishing a minor account and participating in investment goes beyond just managing pocket money, serving as an effective means for acquiring financial literacy.
