Launch of Four Quantum Computing ETFs on Korean Exchange

The Korean Exchange has recently listed four exchange-traded funds (ETFs) focused on quantum computing. Issued by Shinhan Asset Management, Korea Investment Trust Management, KB Asset Management, and Hanwha Asset Management, these ETFs primarily invest in American quantum computing firms. Each ETF, named 'PLUS US Quantum Computing TOP10', 'RISE US Quantum Computing', 'KoAct Global Quantum Computing Active', and 'SOL US Quantum Computing TOP10', employs diverse passive and active strategies to invest in companies related to quantum computing.
However, given the recent underperformance of these companies and the low likelihood of immediate practical applications, investors are advised to approach cautiously. Despite these challenges, the quantum computing sector's potential for long-term growth has garnered attention. In particular, investors interested in innovative technologies are increasingly intrigued by these offerings.
The listing of these ETFs signifies that the quantum computing sector is gaining attention in financial markets as well. Investors should carefully monitor the corporate performance and technological advancements in this domain when considering investments.
