Samsung Asset Management Changes Dividend Payment Date of 'KODEX U.S. 30-Year Treasury Target Covered Call (Synthetic H)' ETF

Samsung Asset Management has announced that the dividend payment date for its 'KODEX U.S. 30-Year Treasury Target Covered Call (Synthetic H)' ETF will be changed from the last business day of each month to the 15th. Consequently, the dividend payment base date for October is set to the 15th, with the actual payment on the 17th. This change is expected to provide investors with higher cash flow. The ETF aims for an annual 12% dividend through investments in U.S. 30-year Treasury bonds and weekly call option sales.
Since its listing, the ETF has accrued 418.9 billion won in net assets and 190.4 billion won in net purchases by individual investors, in addition to approximately 95 billion won flowing into retirement pension accounts. Investor interest has particularly surged due to anticipated U.S. interest rate cuts. Samsung Asset Management's move is expected to enhance investor liquidity and offer better yield opportunities.
