Samsung Asset Management's KODEX US AI Power Core Infrastructure ETF Sees Surge in Individual Net Purchases
Samsung Asset Management's 'KODEX US AI Power Core Infrastructure' ETF is drawing significant interest from individual investors. On the 31st alone, this ETF recorded an individual net purchase of 24.2 billion KRW, marking the largest scale among domestic ETFs. Cumulative net purchases have reached 116.3 billion KRW, with this product focusing heavily on firms related to U.S. power infrastructure. The ETF boasts high returns of 8% over one month, 16.8% over three months, and 54.5% over six months, positioning it as an attractive option amidst power production and infrastructure constraints, alongside a high evaluation for long-term growth potential. It primarily invests in American companies involved in power generation, transmission, and data center energy management. Despite the recent decline in AI power infrastructure stock prices, investors are continuing to purchase, considering the long-term growth prospects. Recently, individual investors have expanded their purchasing efforts against the backdrop of the power infrastructure industry's rapid growth. The fund's investments in companies like GE Vernova and Constellation Energy are expected to benefit significantly from the commercialization of AI, which is likely to further increase demand for investments in power infrastructure. Manager Kim Chun-Heung predicts the continuation of this upward trend, urging investors to consider the long-term benefits.
