50s Investors Leading the Leverage ETF Market in Korea

In a week marked by significant milestones as the KOSPI and KOSDAQ indices soared past 5000 and 1000 points respectively, investors in their 50s have emerged as leading actors in the leverage product market, contributing the largest investment shares. This demographic has notably invested 1,042 billion KRW in the KODEX KOSPI Leverage ETF and has similarly dominated the KODEX KOSDAQ150 Leverage ETF with holdings amounting to 1,278 billion KRW. The volume of accounts held by those in their fifties surpassed all other age groups, signaling their vital role in the Korean market.
