Delisting of Four KIWOOM ETFs Announced

The Korea Exchange has announced the delisting of four exchange-traded funds (ETFs) managed by KIWOOM Asset Management. The delisting is scheduled for March 26, involving KIWOOM Global Future Mobility, KIWOOM US Industrial ETF, KIWOOM China Connect A50 MSCI, and KIWOOM Fn Genomic Innovation Technology. This decision stems from a reduction in the principal balance of the ETFs and a request by the asset manager. Investors are provided ample time to prepare for the closure, with trading set to be halted on March 25.
Investors can sell the stocks of these ETFs at the proposed bid prices from liquidity providers by March 24. After the delisting, the redemption payment, which factors in costs from the net asset value, will prevent financial losses for the investors. This step is part of the exchange's ongoing efforts to respond pragmatically to factors generated within the marketplace. This action might necessitate some portfolio reforms for market investors.
