This ETF has seen its assets grow by over 250 billion won in the past three months, with investments primarily in key companies like Doosan Enerability and Korea Electric Power Corporation. Notably, it has emerged as an important partner in the 'Team Korea' initiative, linked to the revival of nuclear projects in the United States. The Korea Exchange plans to list four new ETFs managed by NH-Amundi Asset Management, Samsung Asset Management, and KB Asset Management on October 26. These ETFs encompass diverse investment themes, including robotics, financial bonds, semiconductors, and bond hybrids, increasing the total number of listed ETF products to 1,073. This expansion offers investors a wider range of investment opportunities across various sectors. KB Asset Management's Yong-Hwi Yuk emphasizes the importance of risk management in the second half of the year, projecting a semiconductor-driven market in the first half. Highlighting bio and robotics as promising sectors, he recommends leveraging active ETFs like 'RISE Korea Strategy Industries Active.' This approach is expected to play a role in adjusting thematic allocations, given the high exposure to AI sectors.
