Samsung Asset Management Launches Monthly Dividend ETF Investing in Taiwanese Tech Companies
Samsung Asset Management has launched and listed the 'KODEX Taiwanese Tech High Dividend Dow Jones' ETF, which provides monthly dividends and invests in Taiwanese tech companies. The ETF follows an index methodology developed from SCHD, a prominent US dividend ETF, tailored to the unique characteristics of Taiwan's industry and tech sector. Thanks to Taiwan's dividend-friendly government policies, the average dividend yield in the Taiwanese stock market stands at 4%, higher than those of the US and South Korea. This newly launched ETF is expected to offer a monthly dividend yield of around 5-7% annually, leveraging the global competitiveness and growth potential of Taiwanese tech firms.
