Shinhan Asset Management ETF Name Change and Fee Reduction
Shinhan Asset Management has decided to change the name of the 'SOL America Dividend Dow Jones TR' ETF to 'SOL America Dividend Dow Jones 2' and significantly reduce the fee rate from 0.05% to 0.01% annually. This change aims to align with the new tax revision plan by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, offering investors better benefits.
The 'SOL America Dividend Dow Jones 2' will shift its dividend distribution method from automatic reinvestment to monthly distribution, providing investors with more frequent opportunities for returns. This adjustment is expected to be the optimal choice for enhancing dividend yield for investors. These changes will be effective from May 30, allowing investors to receive dividends twice a month.
This decision by Shinhan Asset Management is part of its management strategy for a total of four ETFs, with their total assets amounting to 1.3 trillion won. Consequently, this move is anticipated to evoke positive responses in the investment market. The new measures are likely to strengthen Shinhan Asset Management's competitiveness in the ETF market and increase investor interest in overseas stock TR ETFs.
