Samsung Active Management Launches Palantir-focused ETF
Samsung Active Asset Management has launched a new ETF under the KoAct brand, titled 'Palantir Value Chain Active.' This ETF concentrates 22% to 25% of its investments in Palantir, while also diversifying across companies like Tesla, Oracle, and Alphabet, and expanding to defense and drone-related firms. The ETF carries an annual fee of 0.50%.
Palantir is enhancing its competitive edge across various industries through advanced AI services, which Samsung Active regards as highly promising for future growth. Manager Yang Hee-chang notably marks Palantir’s capacity to play a crucial role in the nascent AI market.
Additionally, this ETF targets a paradigm shift within the international and defense industries by including an array of global companies often referred to as 'Team Palantir.' Rebalancing is scheduled quarterly in March, June, September, and December. The ETF's portfolio also comprises companies in the semiconductors, defense, cloud, and IT services sectors, including prominent players like LIG Nex1, Samsung Electronics, SAP, and Airbus.
