Samsung Asset Management ETF Achieves Significant Milestones
Samsung Asset Management's 'KODEX US S&P500' and 'KODEX US Nasdaq100' ETFs have achieved remarkable growth, with net assets surpassing KRW 5 trillion and KRW 2.9876 trillion respectively. The combined net assets of these two ETFs have increased by approximately 185% from a year ago to reach KRW 8.312 trillion. They have gained substantial trust among investors due to their low management fees, high returns, and excellent tracking error rates. Notably, the 'KODEX US S&P500' surpassed KRW 5 trillion in net assets at the fastest pace among similar ETF products, achieving this milestone in just over four years and four months. Despite the competitive market conditions, it has established a strong presence. Similarly, the KODEX US Nasdaq100 has seen a significant rise in net assets, ranking 11th among domestic ETFs. The strategic investment in major companies such as Apple and NVIDIA has positively influenced the performance from a returns perspective. The intense marketing competition between Samsung Asset Management and Mirae Asset has also played a significant role in this success. Although Samsung Asset Management once exaggerated the speed of reaching KRW 5 trillion for the KODEX US S&P500, this was quickly corrected. This incident highlights the intensity of competition between the two companies.
