Performance of Korea Asset Management Fund and ETF Market Trends
Korea Investment Management's 'Korea Investment Wall Street Investment Bank Fund' has shown remarkable performance over the past year, achieving a return of 32.29%, surpassing the S&P500 index. This success is based on substantial investments in major global investment banks, with firms like JPMorgan Chase playing a significant role. The deregulation measures from the Trump administration are expected to enhance the profitability of investment banks, further bolstered by a resurgence in mergers and acquisitions and the relaxation of capital regulations, all positively affecting investment banks. Separately, the Korea Exchange has listed three active ETFs from Samsung Active Asset Management, Asset Plus Asset Management, and Hana Asset Management on the securities market. Samsung Active targets growth companies on the Nasdaq, Asset Plus focuses on excellent Indian market companies, and Hana Asset Management invests in bonds with a credit rating of 'AA-' or higher. These ETFs, priced at either 10,000 KRW or 100,000 KRW per unit, provide diversified portfolio options for investors, enhancing accessibility even for those with smaller investment capital.
