ACE US 30-Year Treasury Active ETF Becomes Top Traded on Korean Market
The 'ACE US 30-Year Treasury Active(H)' ETF of Korea Investment Trust Management Company has recorded the highest average trading volume among domestic bond ETFs over the past year. At a remarkable 19.2 billion KRW, it significantly exceeds the average trading volume of 1.4 billion KRW for all bond ETFs. This ETF, investing in long-term US Treasuries, has gained popularity among individual investors due to rising expectations of interest rate cuts. As interest rates decline, the bond prices could increase, making it a lucrative option for investors. Moreover, the ACE US 30-Year Treasury Active(H) ETF saw an asset increase of 950.7 billion KRW over the past year, taking its net asset total to 2.0079 trillion KRW. Remarkably, this product features a dividend type structure, offering a stable income distribution, which appeals to investors seeking consistent returns. Its dividend strategy is particularly advantageous for those emphasizing income stability in their portfolios. Separately, another news piece highlights the wavering status of US Treasuries and the US dollar in global markets. Global investors have been shifting their portfolios toward safer assets like German and Japanese bonds, along with euro and Swiss franc holdings. This shift is influenced by the ongoing US-China trade tariff disputes and looming US recession fears. Such a strategic pivot aims to ensure portfolio stability amidst market volatility.
