Among the constituent stocks of the MSCI KOREA index, which focuses on medium and large capital stocks listed on the Korea Exchange, companies related to alcohol, tobacco, gambling, nuclear power, and weapons are excluded based on the assessment criteria provided by MSCI ESG Research. Instead, the index includes stocks with high ESG scores (calculated by reflecting ESG performance and controversies and issues that may negatively impact ESG aspects), and it is structured to reflect 50% of the floating stock market capitalization by sector of the MSCI KOREA index.
