Benchmark Index Description

Among the MKF500 stocks, which consist of the top 500 companies based on market capitalization listed on the KOSPI and KOSDAQ, the stocks that have passed the initial filtering are used as a universe. This index is composed of stocks belonging to consumer goods and apparel, household goods, food and beverages and tobacco, consumer services, distribution, software, and communication services sectors based on the FICS mid-classification standard. It applies a cap on the weight of individual stocks and is constructed using a free-floating market capitalization weighted method.
